1st May was a very important day for us. Poland joined the European Union and this event gave our society many advantages.
I am happy, that Poland did it! Now, with other countries like Slovakia, Hungary we belong to the EU. It gives greater possibilities of development.
At first, we can be stronger country. The EU grants Poland special funding for agriculture. Secondly, Europe is a new market of sale for our productas. Dueto that fact our economic position in trade increases.
On the other hand, we can travel over the Europe without passport. Now it is easier to study
and work in another country. Polish university degrees and professional qualifications are recognised all over the EU. We have the same laws as other countries.
These are only some advantages of joining the European Union. But there is also one dasadvantage. Our own culture will disapear , because we feel more European than Polish.
In conclusion, I would like to say, that the EU is very important for the future of Poland.
