The homelessness is a very serious social problem nowadays. According to the recent research, the amount of homeless is still growing. In 2006 there were about 5% the homeless and next year there were about 7%!
And what are the main causes of homelessness?
First of all, it’s a huge level of unemployment. People haven’t got a job and money so they are unable to pay for the bills. They have to leave their homes and they wind up on the street.
Second of all, some people have problems with addiction. They lose their money on drugs, alcohol or other stimulants so they haven’t got cash for life.
Finally, I’d like to talk about one more reason: natural disasters. People lose their accommodation by hurricanes or floods. They become homeless because they haven’t got too much money to rebuild their homes.
Experts reflect what amount of homeless will be this year. They’re still working on solving this problem.
