HIP -HOP STYLE

Personally, I believe in Poland there are many different styles of young people. Teenagers like looking fashionable and different, so they often are distinguished by for example clothes and accessories. It’s escape for them from everyday boring life. One of the styles is hip-hop. In my opinion it’s a very interesting and fascinating fashion, so I’m going to describe it.

Hip-hop people usually wear long baggy blue denim jeans, sometimes with a patch, brand-new white or colourful trainers, a trendy large white cotton T-shirt with a funny design or logo on it, a stylish baggy sweatshirt with a hood. A lot of them wear jewellery like gold or silver chains, charity bracelets, rings and earrings. Very often they wear fashionable tracksuits, flared trousers and baseball caps. Usually they don’t have any tattoo. They don’t use any cosmetics, so they don’t wear for example lipstick, eyeliner and mascara.

Hip-hop people love listening to hip-hop. It seems to me that they couldn’t live without this music and hip-hop influence the clothes they wear and their behaviour. Hip-hop songs are always characterized by regular heavy beat and spoken words. In this kind of music produce for example 2Pac, Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Pezet, Bez cenzury… But the most popular hip-hop artist is Eminem now. Hip hop stars often sing about politics, life, young people and drugs.
Hip-hop people usually spend their free time in the park. They make fun of each other a lot. They are interested in many sports but most important for them are sports connected with a board. They practice skateboarding They dance break-dance and they learn new skills of dance too. Sometimes they just hang around, because there’s nothing better to do. They support different football teams. They like painting graffiti. It’s a way for them to show their emotions.
