Henryk Sienkiewicz, was born in 5th May 1846 in Wola Okrzejska.His familly was very poor.His father was a farmer.
They lived in Warsow.He didnt’t have any brother and sister.As a child Henryk learnt at a Grammar-School.
Later,in 1866, he went to college.He studied low.He completed his education in 1869.Than he worked as a journalist.
He also was an editor of „Polish newspaper”,and „Words”.

He loved travelling.He was in America,and in Africa.The travels were for him an inspiration.After World War I ,he went to Switzerland,and he acted there as a president of Committee General Mayday of Victimes of War in Poland.

In early years he mainly wrote short story,for example: „Lighthous keeper”,and other.He got fame an popularity.People loved his for his kindness,helpful and georgeous books.Leter he wrote „A Trilogy”,”Teutonic Knights”and”,”In desert and in forest”.He received a Nobel Price in 1905 for „Quo vadis”.In this novel he showed trumph of Christianity over force Roman Empire.He died in 15th November 1916 in Vevey,Swizerland.
