Holidays at a lakeside.

Two years ago I and my friend Charlie we were on holidays. We were fond of spending time actively so we decided to go at lakeside.
In Ostroda we had great time bathing, sunbathing, partying, playing volleyball, basketball and certainly boating and sailing. One of these days in the afternoon Charlie suggested sailing, so we went at lakeside. The weather was good to sail: it was windy and warm. Moreover there was not many clouds in the sky. We started sailing from the marina. Our yachts were being rolled gently with calm waves. Because of blowing wind canvas were fluttering. Suddenly I saw something floating on the water while we were racing,. I told Charlie to come. When we were sufficiently close, he screamed: “man overboard!”. In fact there was a man drifting on a piece of wood. He was unconscious. We brought him to Charile’s yacht quickly and gave him first aid. Fortunately, castaway regained consciousness, but he was not able to say or do anything because of extreme exhaustion. Then I returned onto my sailing boat. Unexpectedly, sky became cloudy, pour rain started and thunderstorm began. Although we tried to get closer to the lakeside, we were too far from it and our helms became useless. Thunderstorm intensified. Water was flowing into the yachts. Power of the wind was so strong that it broke mast of my yacht which immediately started to sink. Then I jumped on Charlies’s yacht. We were terrified and did not know what to do when storm finished at last.
Finally we reached the shore. This was an experience which I surely never forget.
