Prot is a new patient in a mental hospital in New York who claims to be from a far away planet called K-PAX. He’s come to Earth by a sunbeam to explore our civilisation.
When Prot has come to Earth he’s taken shape of man in his early forties. He’s of average height and slim. He’s got short, dark hair, wide mouth and strong chin. He always wears black sunglasses because there is different sunlight on his planet and he can’t see anything in our daylight without them.
Prot is very quiet and peaceful. Even so he represents more advenced civilisation than ours he respect people and he never swaggers.
He loves smell of strange flowers which occures only at his planet. He likes fruits especially bananas which he eats with skin. He doesn’t eat meat and he avoids water.
I like Prot because even so he’s not human he’s more humane than most of people. He was trying to help other patients as much as he can and he’s learned dr. Powell to care about his family.
