Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you about the party we held at Queen's Hotel on Saturday 16th September. I have a number of complaints.
First of all, we booked dinner for 8 p.m, but our table was not ready until 9 pm. Then when we sit down for the meal, we discovered that there was only a fish salad available, although you had promised there would be a choice. Moreover, the room was tiny, and stuffy.
As for the disco, we had to wait until 11 p.m. for it to start because the disc jokey was late. Most of us were so dissapointed that they left the party, so the atmosphere was miserable.
I hope you will agree that it was a very disappointing evening. I would be grateful if you could send my friends an apology, and refund at least part of the cost of the meal.
