Desciribing places - Vancouver

If you have never been to Vancouver you should regret it. This large, but charming city is located on the west coast of Canada, just across the American-Canadian border. I have chosen this city, because it?s really marvellous.

Vancouver is exceptionally beautiful because it?s situated in a special place, where the ocean meets the mountains. On one side of the city there are the majestic and breathtaking Rocky Mountains. You can admire there fabulous landscapes. On the other side you can hear the roar of Pacific Ocean. Such a location makes Vancouver a truly unique and unforgettable city. The most characteristic thing about all Canadian?s cities are people who live there. They are welcoming and friendly, they say good morning even to strangers.

When you are in Vancouver you can be very surprised when you find there a wonderful Chinese garden. Variety of exotic plants and delightful smell ? I remember it even now. Alternatively, if you are a sports fan, mountains which are only 30 minutes away from the city are perfect place for mountain climbing in summer and skiing in winter. For those who like going shopping there is a famous Robson Street district with fashionable boutiques, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops where you can buy original handicrafts.

Vancouver is a lovely and exciting city to visit with something for everyone. I?ll never forget special atmosphere of this city, which has made great impression on me. I would like to go there one more time.
