Do you know a story of teams that went on Mount Everest?
Three teams went in March 1996 from north India. Guides Hall and Fischer had to lead to the top 16 people who paid a fortune to climb the biggest mountain. On 12 March they pitched a camp in a base on 5364 meters, at the foot of the Western Wall of Mount Everest.
From 12 April to 5 May travelers were adapting for the high altitude and the rarefied air.
9 may 1996. Camp number 3
In the morning one of Chinese climber Cho Mang fell down to the crack. Porters pulled out this man but he was dead.
In the evening, after hours of climbing, teams of Hall and Fischer arrived at South Pass.
The chief of porters from Fischer team, Lopsang Jangbu, was going very slowly because he carried 35 kilogram satellite phone which was American Sandy Pittman.
9 may 1996. About 8.00pm
The weather is clean. Rob Hall is saying to his group: " Hey this will be the day! The game will start about 11am next day
10 may 1996. On the way to the top
Night was very cold but nice. Each of the mountaineers are carrying oxygen bottles which weigh 3 kilos.
One of Australian climbers is going blind as a result of an eye operation.
One of porters is sitting on the snow and he is vomiting. He can't go further.
10 may 1996. About 1,15pm Summit of Everest
When Scoot and Hall arrived on the top they sent the massage: " We are one the top of Mount Everest!!! My God, it is beautiful!" When they were going down Anatolij Bukriejew broke his leg. " I can't go dawn! You must go down and come back for me. Please." - he said
Scoot & Hall swore they would and they want down to the camp.
10 may 1996. About 2.10pm Camp number 7 - 7994m.
When Hall and Scoot arrived to the camp Fischer collected his thoughts, and he organized "rescue team". And they went for Anatolij.
10 may 1996. About 3pm Place of Bukriejew
When Scoot Fischer arrived at place where Bukriejew had broken his leg he found him but he was dead. Scoot sent massage to Hall: " Anatolij was dead. We are going to go down to the camp." When Scoot and 4 porters were going down snowstorm started. Scoots lost the way and he found shelter in a snow hole. He sends massage to Camp number 7: "We lost the way! Help us!" - it was the last massage from Scoot Fischer.
10 may 1996. About 3.45pm Camp number 7 - 7994m.
When the snowstorm ended Hall went to rescue Scoot. He found Fischer and 4 porters about 230 meters from camp but they had died.
14 may 1996. Camp number 1

Anatolij Bukriejew - died
Cho Mang - died
Australian climber - is blind
One of the porters - serious stomach disease
4 porters - died
They won with the biggest mountain in the world and the remarkable courage shown by climbers in 1996 made them heroes.
