ANIMALS IN CAPTIVITY (Zoo, circus)

I think that keeping animals in the circus is horrible. They haven’t suitable conditions and that’s why it is a torture for them to live in captivity. People who go to circus see full of color dresses, smiling clowns and wild animals like lions, rhinos, monkeys, crocodiles, snakes witch listen to their trainer. Children are fascinated but I think that adults understand in what situation these animals are.

Circuses go from one place to another. Animals are kept in small cages, they can’t move around. People who work in circus train wild animals.

In zoo animals are in the better situation. They have similar conditions as in nature, life in open air. They are still wild. For some of them weather conditions maybe unsuitable for example too cold for lions, not cold enough for polar bears. Many of them were born in captivity and don’t know what freedom means. We can’t forget that some of endangered species survive only thanks zoos. Workers try to create animals natural environment, where they will feel save and most comfortable. Some animals become so bored and unhappy that they die.
