Education in Poland is divided into: primary, Junior High School , secondary or voluntary, advanced studies and higher education.

Compulsory education in Poland lasts for 12 years; from 6 to 18.

Children are legally obliged to start attending school in the year when their have sixth birthday. It may take place on September 1st.

It is required that pupils attend school until the last Friday in June of the school year in which they celebrate their eighteenth birthday.

Pupils Primary School ends one exams from science and arts objects and all of Polish pupils move from primary school to Junior High School when they are 13.

They learn at this school by 3 years and they must write in third class two examinations from objects of science and arts.

Next at the age of 16, pupils transfer from Junior High School to Voluntary or Secondary School.

After three years of science the pupils take an exam from three objects obligatory - Polish language, non-mother language and objects chosen by oneself.

After sentence successful all examinations student can begin advanced studies.

They are daily on site or extramural. They last 5 years and during them every year students pass session. On the of studies students write the graduate's work out and take an exam with her oral.

The Polish Education System aims to educate the person as a whole so that each pupil develops their personality as well as gaining academic knowledge.

After advanced studies student may continue one's education in further studies where they have degree Master of... chosen objects.

Students may make a lot of course, if they want, that help them in find a job.
