Advantages and disadvantages of driving a car in the town

The car has been the most popular method of transport for many years.I have also been driving a car for some years as I think that this way of travelling has many advantages.Driving a car I avoid crowds,I feel free in my car,I can listen to music.In winter I don't get cold thanks to heating and in summer thanks to air conditioning I don't feel hot.Contrary to public transport I don't have to worry about a bus being late.I get into my car at the time I choose myself and go for example to my work.Using a car is comfortable,convenient and easier than using public transport.If we have a car we can travel whenever we want to,we are "free",not confined by departure or arrival time of a train or a bus.Obviously,driving a car has also some disadvantages,such as cost of upkeep,insurance,technical service,cost of petrol.Often going somewhere by car I have problems with finding some parking space,I get stuck in the traffic jams and waste my precious time.When we drive we have to be very careful because there are many accidents.Another disadvantage is the fact that having a car we give up walking,jogging,we go evertwhere by car:to the shop,to visit family,to work and it sometimes has a negative impact on our moods. It is a fact that driving a car has in and out of the city has many advantages and disadvantages.In my opinion it is comfortable to have a car because it makes our life easier but let's not forger about going for walks and at the weekends let's give up using a car,save money,get more fresh air and relax,leave the stress at the roads behind.Everyone chooses what is the best for him but we should remember about safety,being careful when driving.If we do,using a car can give us much pleasure.
