Bright morning sunlight shone through my bedroom window when I woke. ‘Finally, my dreams have come true’- I sighed. I was lying in the blissfully warm king- size bed and then I jumped out of it and stood on the tiled floor. I was with my parents on the holiday of a lifetime in Egypt.

He was wearing safari clothes and carrying a gun. He told me it could have been a wild tiger, an animal which was dangerous only to those who were afraid of it. I giggled- ‘I’m afraid just of the sickening sound of my alarm clock!’ and I closed my eyes.

Suddenly, I felt a bitter cold. The very first thing that came to my mind was the total eclipse of the sun. Yet when I opened my eyes I noticed I wasn’t in Sahara but in my bed, in my room and the quilt was, as usual, on the floor...
