People say: ‘It never rains, but it pours’. I agree on it. Some days we feel good, whereas other days everything goes wrong and nothing seems to work. When one bad thing happens, a lot of other bad things also happen, making the situation even worse.
The Olympic Games in Athens weren't very lucky for Polish athletes and supporters. Aneta Pastuszka was disqualified for the reason that her kayak was too light. Sailors forgot to take the mandatory equipment. Boxer Andrzej Rżany lost, because he was thinking that he would win the fight.
Many races were very unfortunate for Polish driver Robert Kubica. In Canadian Grand Prix he hit a concrete wall. It looked terrible! In China he ran in the race, but his first victory was snatched away by hydraulics failure. In July 2008 Kubica had bad luck twice. He didn’t start in the final part of qualification because he had some problems with his car. Next day the race took place. The track was slippery. Robert Kubica lost control of his car. He went off the track and he had to resign from the race. He only could say: ‘It never rains, but it pours’.
Footballers of Ac Milan don't have fond memories from Istanbul. They were winning 3-0, but Liverpool scored three goals in six minutes to level the scores at 3–3.
People often worry about coincidences too. Because of this, they get in trouble again. Everyone should say: ‘I don't care about bad luck’ and live a normal life. In England people say: ‘Try try but don't cry’. I think we should try until we succeed.
